It’s been a while since we had Thai dishes and I can’t exactly remember where we had it. Our recent #PrigiEats care of #ZomatoPh foodie meet up brought to Just Thai situated at Molito Alabang. Funny as it may seem but we usually walked towards this area in Molito but we haven’t tried them yet (sad face!). We would always go to SIAM House in BF Homes Paranaque which is by the way their sister whenever we wanted some Pad Thai and Noodle Soup.
As you entered Just Thai, you can see decorations that will make you think about Thailand. It has high ceiling and limited seating capacity. If you’re up for some fresh air you may choose to seat outside. While waiting for our food I had a glass of Just Thai’s milk tea which is really refreshing, it kept me entertained and didn’t even bothered about the time haha!
Finally when the food arrived, we started our lunch with Pod Piah Tod (P270 ) one of my favorite starter when it comes to Thai cuisines, crispy and crunchy in every bite. Followed by the Yum Pla Dook Foo (P310) a bowl of shredded green mango topped with flakes of catfish. I am a little biased here as I love green mangoes so much hihi!

We tried 3 kinds of soups from Just Thai’s soup selection. They are not just noodles in artificially flavoured broth. They carefully selected each ingredients and came up with comforting soup that will make you crave for it especially in rainy season. The Crispy Pork Noodle Soup (P220)) is a must try, the crispy pork created depth and flavour to this dish. The Seafood Green Curry Noodle (P220) will make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I can literally smell the curry from my bowl. My personal favorite from Just Thai. Kuai Tiao Neua (P290) is made from tender pieces of meat (bbef) and flavorful broth that can surely warm up your hungry stomach.

We were also served with Just Thai’s rice dishes, first is the Khao Krok Kapi (P270) or the bagoong rice. Mixed the salty shrimp paste, green mango shreds, egg and rice all together to create a fabulous rice dish. The Crabmeat Fried Rice (P240) can be a meal itself as it is packed with flavors.

I must say Just Thai nailed their Pad Thai (P290). Among the other dishes on our table this one is the crowd’s favorite. It was gone in few minutes and we had to order another plate. The noodles are slender with few elements in this dish which make it simple and yet outstanding. I’ll give them my two thumbs up for this dish.
Gai Ob Bai Toey
Whenever we had Thai dishes I usually ordered the Gai Ob Bai Toey (P310) or Pandan Chicken because this is the most specialty chicken in Thailand. I find Just Thai’s version a little bland and tough to chew. You have to soak it in the sauce for that extra taste. I guess something is just missing but I’ll definitely give this dish another try. I you want something fishy get the Pla Rad Pik (P400), it is a crispy fillet of fresh tilapia with sweet chili or tamarind sauce

We were served with three kinds of Just Thai’s seafood dishes, the Pad Gaprow Talay (P300), Kung Kratiem (P500) and Plad Talay Prik Pow (P300). My favorite among the three is the Kung Kratiem (P500), fresh shrimps tossed in garlic and pepper. I’m thankful that they taken out the shell of the shrimps. The Pad Gaprow Talay (P300) is a combination of squid, prawns, mussels and fish cooked in a creamy coconut sauce topped with basil leaves. Its sauce can go well with your plain rice. The third one is the Plad Talay Prik Pow (P300) which is made up of prawns, squid and mussels that is absolutely delicious with an extra kick of spice.

Khao Niao Ma Muang
We had the Khao Niao Ma Muang (P260), sticky rice covered with fresh slices of mango. A beautiful looking dessert to end our meal.
By the way, Just Thai has an ongoing promo of Buy 1 Take 1 for their Noodle Soup from 3:00PM-6:00PM. Don’t miss this chance to get a good deal.
