Right after my morning work hubby and I headed to Tus’ Clay Pots and Skillets located at Westgate in Alabang to have our lunch with our fellow Zomato Foodies. It was a big advantage for us because it’s just one ride away (20 mins. travel time) from home. Tus‘ which means Yours in Spanish feels like your second home. Interior was simple and homey, this two-storey restaurant has high ceiling and the whole place is decorated with flowers in can, books, old cameras and photographs. You wouldn’t feel intimidated once you stepped inside.
If you love cheese, pot pies and half-baked cookies like I do, don’t just stare at my blog better start calling your family or friends and set your next day out at Tus. Oh! But before you do that why don’t you take a peek on what you can order at Tus hihi!
Chicken Caesar Salad (P295)
We were served with two kinds of salad. Both loaded with healthy greens but also big in flavor. Chicken Caesar Salad (P295) fresh romaine lettuce that is cut into bite-sized portion paired with chicken and bacon tossed in their signature homemade garlic anchovy dressing. An instagramable salad! That’s how I can describe the Tuna Salad with Raspberry Vinaigrette (P295), a healthy colorful salad drizzled with a tangy special raspberry vinaigrette dressing topped with tuna chunks. There’s also a pleasant crunch from the fried tortilla.

4 Cheese and Bacon Pot Pie (P395)
I prefer my pie crust flakier but nevertheless Tus’ Pot Pies fillings were a sure hit. They served their pot pies in a topless form which means you can easily see the inviting gooey cheese. My personal favorite is the 4 Cheese and Bacon Pot Pie (P395), imagine a bacon paired with 4 kinds of cheese such as mozzarella, parmesan, swiss and cream cheese with alfredo sauce. A perfect comfort food for me!
House Sausage (P395)
Other pot pies choices are loaded with tender and juicy meat. The House Sausage (P395) is made from their homemade italian sausage, bits of fresh basil soaking in marinara sauce, and lots of mozzarella cheese. I don’t have any idea on how long it takes them to cooked the beef for their Hometown Beef Pot Pie (P395) it was very satisfying. Its aioli dressing has a gorgeous garlic kick that goes well with the green bell peppers, red onions and mozzarella cheese. The Chicken Ranch Pot Pie (P375) is made up of Pan seared chicken, fresh basil in alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese. I bet these pot pies will give you a hard time which one to get but you can always have them all (wink!).

Margherita Pot Pie (P375)
If you don’t want any meat grab the Margherita Pot Pie (P375), freshly sliced tomato in marinara sauce with chewy mozzarella cheese with sea salt and olive oil.
Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup (P295)
When the Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Soup (P295) arrived on our table, I cannot wait to have it. See those melted cheese dripping from the artisan sourdough??Pure heaven! Served with a warm creamy tomato soup. Two things that I would love to have in a rainy season.
BLT Calzone (P470)
A folded pizza that has bacon, tomatoes, garlic cream, lettuce, mozzarella cheese, homemade pizza dough served with homemade aioli. Big enough to feed two to three people.
Aside from pot pies, they also have steaks that are worth trying. Tus Herbed Butter Steak (P480), a Rib-eye steak topped with butter and served with beans and corn on the side. Pot Roast Beef (P480). slow cooked seriously satisfying beef belly served with red wine gravy, mixed vegetables and garlic rice. Sizzling Porchetta (P540), crackling skin and succulent meat with a flavorful gravy sauce.

Fideua Negra (P495)
It’s like a paella negra with short strands of pasta instead of rice that is cooked in a fresh seafood broth and squid ink topped with shrimp, clams, squid, homemade aioli and lemons
Half-Baked Cookie (185)
Even before our meal has started I can’t contain my excitement for Tus Half-Baked Cookie (185). A House-made cookie dough half-baked in a cazuela served with a vanilla ice cream. It’s chewy, with just right sweetness. Aside from the other delicious dishes of Tus, this dessert will make me come back soon. I’ll make sure to have one order just for myself hihi! By the way, they are available in different amazing flavors.
