Another Story is the most visually stunning restaurant in Evia Mall, Alabang. The interior is whimsy at its finest, as if you’re flipping pages of a story book. From the same owner of Cafe Voila in Tagaytay, Ms. Ica Manalo Sebastian created another beautiful and outstanding resto along south, the Another Story.
You’ll get busy checking around their cute and quirky stuffs inside the restaurant while waiting for your food. I can imagine bringing my family here for a special occasion or even a date night with hubby during our anniversary. Menu prices maybe a little higher but I guess it’s all worth it.
“My homestyle cooking has been the sum of what I have brought with me through time. Another Story aims to bring you just that. Good quality comfort food that I’ve picked up and put my own stories to them. It’s my tribute to celebrating life’s simple pleasures and happiness-Ms. Ica”
Their chairs with uncoordinated colors and style worked well. It added a fun and classy vibes to the whole restaurant. Grab a table in dining room or if you prefer a little privacy get your seats outside and as soon as you’ve put in your order you’ll get a complimentary bread with tomato salsa.
Another Story Salad (P595.00) with grilled prawns, shiitake mushrooms, parmesan cheese, romaine, house dressing and walnuts. A refreshing bowl to prepare your palate for a hearty meal, it actually comes in big serving good for 3-4 people.
Carbonara Spaghetti (P525.00), egg based sauce with bacon and tons of parmesan cheese. Kid’s will surely love this one! If you’re into meat and tomatoes, order the Bolognese Spaghetti of Linguine (P495.00). You are sure to be filled with the hefty servings. My favorite among the three pasta is the Vongole Manila Clams (P525.00), clams and garlic in olive oil simmered in broth and white wine, drizzled with basil and parsley. Request for an extra parmesan cheese please!
Roast Pork Belly (P495.00) tastily marinated pork belly that either comes with buttered rice or mashed potato. You’ll get torn between biting the crunchy skin/fat or the tender meat served with bits of apple with cinnamon.
Beef Brisket (P595.00), it has the right meat consistency with a hint of herbs and fragrant spices. The best part of this dish? It will not give you a hard time chewing it. The best mashed potato in the planet! Kidding aside, it has no extenders just pure po-ta-to!
Baby Back Ribs with BBQ Sauce (P595.00) falls cleanly off the bone. A bit pricey , but the quality of meat and the tangy barbecue sauce that’s loaded with flavors will worth your money.
Roast Chicken (P595.00), an eye-catcher as it was too beautiful to eat. The skin is tasty so I was expecting more about the meat but it taste ordinary.
Compliment your meal with fresh fruit drinks, Ripe Mango Shake (P190.00) they will ask you if you want to have it with milk or not.
Another Story also serves coffee any time of the day. I had the Vietnamese Latte (P170.00) which is too cute to drink.
Another Story is not just another restaurant, every dishes that they created has a story in it that you should need to discover!
