Looking for accommodation that fits your budget is a big challenge for every traveler. One of the best way to have your “tipid” vacation is to cut down on accommodation costs. Hubby and I love to travel, explore new places together, take a staycation where we can just be lazy all day but it doesn’t mean that we have to spend unreasonable amount of money on expensive airfare and hotel accommodations. There are many budget-friendly options that we can always consider.
I was surprised that there is a hotel along Makati that offers clean and modern rooms at an affordable price. This “hometel” combines the warmness hospitality of Filipinos, thus making every guest feel at home while staying inside the hotel.
The Regina Hometel is a four-storey building which is composed of 15 standard rooms, 17 deluxe rooms, and 8 suites rooms. Open for an overnight stay, a week or even a month.

One of the newest places to stay in Makati for tourists, business man, or a distinctive hideaway to relax and unwind with family and friends.Suited for weekend breaks of even holidays.
No elevators are provided but you don’t have to worry of catching your breath, the stairs are built in small easy steps. Plus it can be a good exercise right?

CCTV Cameras, fire sprinkles, smoke detectors, emergency lights and fire exits on all floors are provided to ensured every guest with a good and safe stay.

Each room has its own keycard, comfortable bed, television, security safe boxes, refrigerator, intercom system and fully air conditioned. They have small bathroom but guaranteed that it’s clean, and oh they have hot and cold shower too!

Since I was just a day tour traveler I never really had a chance to stay in any hotel but I would love to experience it someday.. maybe if i decided to travel to farther provinces which really requires me to stay for more than a day hehe
Hihi take some time just to relax!?
I think I prefer the Suite Room anyways it’s still affordable. I just find the bathroom of the regular and standard room too cramped.
Yes it’s kinda small!?
This is interesting for me because my family is putting up a dorm. I like the word “hometel,” this is the first time I’ve heard it. It sounds more homey as the word connotes. This seems to have nice facilities, good location and affordable rates. A place I will recommend to people
Some of their guests are call center agents!?
Hometel , what a lovely term . I live on a the canary islands myself . Lots and lots of hotels , this post is very interesting for me to compare the prices , although I need to check online the exchange rate .The numbers look shocking to me 🙂 but I assume it’s fairly cheap ? I just think , the rooms , especially the bathrooms are very tiny . But anyway , you have left me curious now …Thanks for this lovely post , not my first and certainly not my last visit to Journey to life !
Thanks klaudia!?Been checking your blog too!?
A standard room costing 1500? IN MAKATI? and it’s not filled with grime? Wow, what a find girl! this is so perfect for the backpackers who want to check out the Makati City Life 🙂
Try it out some other time, if you just want to relax and escape the busy life in metro!?
