Pizza Making at Yellow Cab Solenad 3

Have you been to Nuvali?

It’s a nice spot for family weekend bonding, there are lot of things that you can do here  such as walking along the park, fish feeding, rent a  bike, go shopping or even food tripping.

Yellow Cab recently launched their third branch at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa Laguna. It was strategically located at the third floor (near cinema) of Solenad 3. Yellow Cab Pizza is famous with their unique flavors.

The afternoon event started off with a simple message from the management, followed by the store blessing and ribbon cutting.

Led by Mr. Rey Charles Reyes (YC Senior Operations Manager) and Mr. Arnel Gomez (Vice Mayor-Sta. Rosa, Laguna)

As a prosperity wish for the new Yellow Cab branch, the management threw out coins around the store. The crowd pressed in, and everyone’s eager to catch the lucky coins.

happy kiddo!

After the  store blessing, everyone enjoyed Yellow Cab best seller dishes  such as Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta, Spicy Hot Wings, Chicken Alfredo Pasta and New York’s Finest Pizza.

When my nephew heard that we will make our own Yellow Cab Pizza, he was very excited and even asked me to be his assistant haha! I have no choice, so I said Yes!!;)

Yellow Cab is very particular with the safety of their customers, especially that they serve food. Everyone must  wear hairnet and apron before entering the kitchen area. Hand gloves are also provided.

One of the Yellow Cab staff taught us how to make  our own New York’s Finest Pizza. I was nervous because my nephew was just 6 years old, I am worried if he can easily follow all the instructions.

I was assigned to do all the weighing of the ingredients and pass it to Cedric so he can top it on our pizza. Yellow Cab Pizza are hand made and they only use fresh ingredients.

cheesy overload
ground beef
bell pepper
bacon bits

This was his first pizza making experience!:)

Hubby was there too! Both of them were competing if who can made a presentable New York’s Finest Pizza haha! Let’s see!

The pizza dough was placed in a pan,  tomato sauce was spread all over the dough, topped it with cheese, ground beef, bacon bits, placed the green bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, olives, garlic, add a pinch of oregano powder and topped it again with cheese. Looks very simple right?but it takes u more than 30 minutes to finish our pizza. My nephew is kinda OC in putting all the ingredients haha!

We placed it inside the oven and waited for 5 minutes….You don’t have to worry for burnt pizza because  your pizza will automatically rolled out from the oven. Cedric was patiently waiting at the side, I guess he’s too excited!

oh yeah coming out!

Time to slice it equally and placed it in a box.

Tada! Pizza’s ready!

That was his first pizza making experience and I’m so happy that he enjoyed it so much. He even wanted to make another one, the NY Classic (his favorite pizza flavor).;)

After the Pizza Making, the crowd were all lined up outside to claim their free pizza. Every time Yellow Cab Pizza opens another branch they gave out free pizza for their first 100 customers. Sounds cool right?!

What a fantastic experience, especially for your nephew!! I would love to be able to do this although we already make our own pizza at home because it tastes incredible!! I really love the look of the pizza place though, very New York!!

  4. That’s a truly fun experience for you and your family. Making pizza in a famous brand is quite rare letting you know their ingredients and their ways on how to do it. What a wonderful experience! 🙂

  5. That must have been a fun experience for your nephew! I’m an adult and I’d still find it exciting to be able to make my own pizza. 🙂 Thanks for the tips about Yellow Cab handing out free pizzas during a branch opening. Will take note of that.

This activity must be fun. I worked in Greenwich before but I was not assigned for pizza. However, I got a chance to create one. I miss doing it.

  7. Ang swerte mo sis! I wanna try this too firsthand! hehe I’ve been to Nuvali and whenever we’re there, we usually eat in Yellowcab. My favorite is the Charlie Chan. Will keep this mind so the next time we go here, we will try their Solenad 3 Branch. Who knows, they might throw an activity like this again. haha

  8. New York’s finest is my favourite flavour in Yellow cab. My family always orders it alongside a serving of twice baked potato halves ,their tomato soup and charlie chan chicken pasta.
