Imus City “Cookfest ni Erpats” Cooking Competition

In celebration of National Women’s Month, the City Government of Imus held an activity last March 04, 2019 at the Imus Sports Complex. The main aim of  the “Coofest ni Erpats” activity was not only to increase the awareness on the importance of male participation in the household management but to also showcase the Imus most famous dish, the “Menudo”. This dish is famous for every Imusueño, it is part of their every gatherings or “handaan”.  Made of pork and liver cubes, carrots, potatoes, carrots and bell pepper in rich sauce with liver paste.

They picked ten male participants among the City Hall employees and challenged them to cooked their own version of Imus Menudo using their “secret ingredients”.
