Experience the Hari ng Sarap dishes of Inihaw King

Wave your hands if you love grilled meats? We’re lucky that the first branch of Inihaw King is near our house. Yipee!!  I’ve noticed this dining spot along  Daang Hari road the last time we went to Alabang and I’m happy that last Wednesday we finally tried it.

Inihaw King

Inihaw King is just 5 minutes away from the Vista Mall in Molino, you will easily see it because it along the road in front of Camella Homes (on your left side). If you’re coming from Alabang it is within the same road of Evia Mall. Anyway, you can always use the google map or waze. (wink!)

Inihaw King

Inihaw King ambiance is very simple, no fancy interior at all but decent enough for you to have your meal. The dining tables and chairs are made up of kawayan. It reminds me of those little “kainan” by the road when you need to stop over  to have your meals after a long trip.

Inihaw na Manok (P235)

Fresh off the grill Inihaw na Manok (P235) our most bought dish when we have no time to prepare  or let’s say we’re feeling lazy to think  what will be our “ulam” for lunch or dinner. I know there are many choices of Inihaw na Manok in the market, Inihaw King’s version of this Filipino dish is very tasty.  They have their own distinctive flavor, the chicken is juicy and the meat literally fall off the bones. I think most people cannot resist the taste of grilled dishes.

Inihaw na Liempo (P195)

By the way, there’s Inihaw na Liempo (P195) too. Anything from their menu is  available for take out just be ready to add P10  for the container.

Binusog na Bangus (P185)

For those people who prefers fish than meat, worry not because Inihaw King also serves grilled fish. We tried the Binusog na Bangus (P185), the milkfish is cut into half, grilled and topped with chopped onion, tomato and chili. I liked the quality of their bangus because it taste  fresh and “malaman”. If you don’t like it  spicy, ask the waiter to separate the chili.

Inihaw na Panga ng Tuna

Another fish on Inihaw King’s menu is the Tuna, you can either have the Panga ng Tuna or the Tuna Belly.   They cooked it in a way the you can still actually enjoy the taste of the tuna. I usually hate those tuna that is over marinated. This is an excellent dish with a cup of plain rice or even for pulutan and goes perfectly with a bottle of beer. Yes, they have beers too!

Beef Kare-Kare (P220)

Inihaw King is not all about grilled meats, they have other viands too which is good for 2 people. We also tried their Beef Kare-Kare (P220), its color is not as bright as the usual kare-kare  because I think  they did not put any atsuete in it but when it comes to the taste, it’s delicious. I’m sure you’ll be asking for another cup of rice. The sauce has a grainy texture which indicates that it was made from real peanuts. The beef is pretty tender. Let the bagoong on the side do its magic!

Crispy Binagoongan (P185)

Speaking of Bagoong, my top favorite dish at Inihaw King is the Crispy Binagoongan (P185).  The marrying taste of the saltiness and sweetness of bagoong and the crispy fried pork is just perfect. I was craving for it earlier so hubby and I  went to Inihaw King again and have some of it for take out hihi!  My family loves it too! I think we’ll keep coming back for more.

Laing (P140)

Oooh la Laing (P140), the taro leaves absorbed the flavors of the ingredients very well. It’s not creamy yet not  dry. A must order dish of Inihaw King!

Pansit Canton (P140)

If you’re up for snacks or merienda Inihaw King got you covered with their Pancit, whether its canton or bihon. For less than P150  it can already feed 2-3 people. Aside from that the veggies are not “tinipid”.

Halo-Halo (P85)

Lastly, don’t end your meal without trying  some of Inihaw King’s desserts. I’m so in love with leche flan, I’m thankful that Inihaw King’s Leche Flan (P50) is made out of pure egg yolks, so expect a creamy sweet treat! We definitely can’t deny that it’s already summer, grab a glass of Halo-Halo  (P85)  if you want to cool down from the extreme heat. Their halo-halo is loaded with various ingredients and lots of milk!
