Banh Mi Kitchen recently launched the first of their BMKN Premium Creations, The Singaporean Chili Crab. Banh Mi is the Vietnamese word for bread, more specifically the baguette. What set them apart from other restaurants that offers the Vietnamese bread is the #crunchtest, they only serve crunchy baguette which is the secret to a good banh mi.
Aside from having a good quality bread, Banh Mi Kitchen offers savory fillings served with crunchy pickled onions, carrots, spring onions, cucumber, diakon and coriander. For as low as P109/half or P159/full you can have Banh Mi Kitchen’s The Classic composed of Veitnamese ham, roast pork pate, cucumber, pickled radish, carrot, mayo and hoisin sauce.
The Singaporean Chili Crab is sold for P349, it might be steep for its price but reasonable enough because the filling is made from real crab meat. The combination of mayo and the other veggies in the crunchy baguette is just brilliant. As of the moment, The Sinagporean Chili Crab is only available at their BGC Branch.
I also enjoyed their Black Viet Iced Cofffee (P60/regular; P70/large) and Premium Cà Phê (P89) both are a great pair to their Banh Mi.
Banh Mi Kitchen is a perfect stop for people who are on the go and up for something delicious to fill up their hungry tummy.
Dear Banh Mi Kitchen, next branch in the South please!=)
