Wow! That was the word that came out of my mouth after my first ever visit to Coffee Project along Vista Mall in Daang Hari. I went here before to meet a friend but the place has no vacant seat that time so we decided to transfer to another location. If you’re standing outside Coffee Project you wouldn’t think that it was so beautiful inside because all you can see is your reflection through their glass windows.
Every corner of Coffee Project is Instagrammable! They have couch where you can sit comfortably while reading your favorite book or while catching up with your friends. There are long tables perfect for students who are in to a group study. A chair with standard table where you can work on your laptop (yes!wifi is available) while sipping a hot coffee. I have no doubt why Coffee Project is a hit “tambayan” for all ages.
Coffee Project is gaining a lot of attention on social media, there is something about the interior that makes this cafe feel warm and inviting. It’s all pretty and cute! Even the washroom too! It is owned by the Villar group so expect more branches will pop out under Starmalls and Vista Land. I’ve noticed that all interiors and furnishings can also be bought from All Home which is under the same company.
Coffee Project serves coffee, smoothies and frappes and even hearty meals. Coffee beans are either locally sourced or from other countries like Vietnam.
Because I’m a matcha fanatic, I had the Matcha Green Tea (P165.00) during our visit. It has a sweet milky taste that somehow overpower the unique taste of Matcha. I guess you can request for lesser syrup or milk or better ask the barista!
Coffee Project is a great place to have your snack whenever it pleases you. Aside from coffee, Clubhouse Sandwich (P215.00) and pastries, they have all-day breakfast meals too! Oh yeah! Tapa, bangus or longanissa served with rice are the choices.
Among the two pasta that I have tried, Sardine Pasta (P210.00) stand out for me. The sardine does not overwhelm my palate. For a change in your pasta, try this one. It has the right balance of sweetness and spiciness with a mix of pesto. I’m thankful that my pasta is not overcooked. The Creamy Pesto and Mushroom Pasta (P210.00) taste ordinary but enough to make you full.
Check Coffee Project’s Facebook Page for list of branches and upcoming promos.
