Finally the search for the best basketball players in the country has come to an end. It was a tough decision for the judges because every child showed their best moves during the Regional Selection Camp that was held at Baguio City, Davao, Cebu and Don Bosco Institute in Makati.
The JR. NBA and JR. WNBA is the league’s global youth basketball participation program for boys and girls which teaches fundamental skills as well as the core values of the game at the grassroots level in an effort to help grow and improve the youth basketball experience for players, coaches and parents.

There was also a search for the boys and girls coaches who will handle the two teams. Elegino Castillo Male Coach of the Year and Arayi Ewon Female Coach of the Year
The five best girls basketball players who made it to the JR. NBA All-Star Team are Darlene Regasajo, Florence Jil Talas, Ma. Cecilia Quilenderino, Rozie Amatong, Aloha Marie Betanio.
While for the boys they selected the ten best players who will join the best NBA experience namely Julian Alfonso Jugo, Fritz Felix Valencia. Harold Alarcon, Isaiah Miguel Blanco, Ric Ozner Gatuz, Andrei Philip Lenchoncito, Tracy Carl Dadang, Jaerico Nunez, Miguel Rey Luis Tan, Kai Zachary Sotto.
I’m sure even if the other girls didn’t make it, this will be a memorable experience for them as well with their parents. It trained them to be confident, disciplined and the value of sportsmanship.
