Staycation at Tagaytay!

Sometimes, there is a point in my life that I want to be lazy all day! Watch my favorite movies/series, stay on the bed or just enjoy a good view. I know some of you can also relate and want to escape stress once in while.

Everything inside this condo are so adorable from their plates, mugs, tea pot, glasses and decors. I decided to prepare a special breakfast, something that we can both always remember.

Take a look at this shabby condo along Tagaytay just few minutes away from Skyranch, where we recently had our staycation. I can say that this is the most peaceful vacation that we had because literally we owned the place for a day!12308357_10153410078700805_5206251582715720564_n

Tagaytay is one of the place we never get bored  to visit because of its magnificent view and of course its cold weather. This time we decided to just stay in the unit in order for us to just relax and unwind. I got excited as we entered that I immediately grab my phone and took a shot of this shabby chic inspired room.

They can accommodate  maximum of 4 pax to fit in their rustic white wood double deck. Bring extra sheet with you, its too cold during the night we even turned off the AC. We stayed in our room all night and watched DVD’s while munching on our favorite snacks. Sadly they don’t have cable yet, so better bring your favorite dvd series!

Utensils are provided and cooking is allowed as long as your responsible enough to clean and throw all your mess. But as I’ve said it’s our lazy day, good thing there are fast food chains available along the building and  we just grab our dinner hihi!;)

Mr. & Mrs. P . enjoying their date night!

Taking a shower early morning in a cold weather was really a  challenge right? But don’t fret there’s a hot and cold shower. Even their bathroom accessories are so cute in floral design.

I set my alarm clock just right in time to enjoy this breathtaking sunrise and we both realized how lucky we are that despite all the challenges in our relationship  we’re still together and happy 😉 . What a lovely view to start our day!

Sunrise Breakfast at the 19th floor while having a good conversation with hubby.

We didn’t noticed  that it’s almost 9AM, I guess we enjoyed our view so much.; We decided to tour around SMDC Residences and we’re amazed that it feels like we’re inside a community. The facilities are well developed and clean.

What I love about our staycation, the place is so quiet perfect for people who just want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of city life! Kids will surely enjoy swimming, running and playing around. For a very affordable overnight rate at Shabby1943 condo  it’s all worth it!?

we’re lucky to see these rainbows!

  1. Hi, isn’t that the condo developed by SMDC? I have been to Tagaytay a few times and that condo looks really familiar.

Personally, I prefer to stay in a small bed and breakfast inn as I already live in a condo. Until I saw your post, I never realized that one advantage is the stunning view of Taal Volcano and Lake. Of course that depends on the unit itself and which direction it faces.

Thank you for this post. It is very informative.

  2. Never thought that the condo is already open. We always pass this when we go to Batangas and it always seemed dark so we thought it’s still not operating.

Anyway, that’s a very lovely condo unit! Something different from the usual decorated condo we see in the Metro. It somehow relates to the Tagaytay surrounding. 🙂 The view from the is beautiful and lucky that you saw a rainbow! That was a wonderful shot!

I have noted the contact number so if we need a place to stay in Tagaytay, this would be a perfect choice.

  3. We passed these buildings while we’re on the bus going to Mahogany Market and I thought it’s still close. So happy I saw this post, at least I already have an idea what it looks inside and i loved the cutesy utensils! I was already actually considering a staycation in Tagaytay one of these days and glad I saw this. 🙂
